SRI JYOTI RENEWABLE ENERGY PVT LTD.(SJREPL)

Sri Jyoti Renewable Energy Private Limited (SJREPL), incorporated in the year 2008, operates a 9.5 MW biomass based power plant. The power plant is located at Dhana Narsan Village, Bhiwani District, Haryana. The plant uses cotton stalk, mustard stalk, Gaur husk and rice stalk from regions of bhiwani district as fuel to fire the boiler. The power generated from the biomass plant is evacuated to the 132 kV substation which is two kilometers from the project site. The power plant commenced its operations in April 2014. The O&M for the power plant is undertaken in-house by SJREPL.

This power plant consists of one traveling grate boiler of 45 TPH capacity operating at 67 bar and 4850C, one extraction cum condensing turbine of 9.5 MW capacity.

The power generated from entire contracted capacity of 9.5 MW is being sold to Haryana Power Purchase Centre (HPPC) which is purchasing on behalf of state DISCOMs i.e Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam & Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam. The company has a 20 year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with HPPC.

*Sri Jyoti Renewable Energy is setting up 2 biomass based power plants at Fatehabad & Jind districts of Haryana. This units will have a capacity of 9.9MW each.
